Slick At Sedona Canyons 125. Not the weather we planned for!

After coming back from the Sedona Canyons 125, I’m pleased with the overall effort and result out there. Anytime you hit the podium, it’s a solid result. I went for the win and battled through some slight misses in the night stretch that ultimately had me lose the lead I built up which is a small part of this game we play. The two runners that finished ahead of me ran exceptional performances both surpassing their initial goals they had set which is just a testament to the growth of the sport as well as the growth in the entirety of Cocodona! As I type this, Sedona Canyons has sold out just in 3 days. The race did not sell-out in 2025. Everything that RD Steve Aderholt, and Jamil and his whole team at Aravaipa are creating something totally unique with Cocodona and I can’t wait to see this RACE continue to elevate itself as a banner event across the entire race calendar.
